Maury’s Division, 35th Mississippi Infantry Regiment, Company G – October 1862 captured and paroled at Battle of Corinth, MS  - April 1863 escaped siege of Vicksburg, MS – October 1863 in guard house at Columbus, MS for desertion at Vicksburg – May 1864 captured at Cassville, GA and sent to Rock Island Barracks, IL for remainder of war – Released on oath May 21, 1865
