in the Gilchrist County Chamber of Commerce. Requested all names of
Confederate Veterans be placed in the new Gilchrist History Book.

Received transfer paper
from Bob McKinstry to join our Camp. (23 member) SCV meeting had
Compatriot Robbie Roberton to speak on "Presentation of
Preservation of the Flags in Tallahassee. Compatriot Wayne
Lindsey donated $90.00 to have our Camp name placed on the White
Springs
Monument
and Compatriot Lindon
Lindsey donated $10.00 for the name which completed the $100.00 total
cost. .

camp for Blue Springs 4 H's and talked about the lives of the Civil War
soldiers.

Herald newspaper of our SCV Camp in Newberry Veterans parade. Submitted
two names of Soldiers from the War Between the States to be placed on a
Veterans memorial at the new Alachua Courthouse in Gainesville.

SCV meeting Compatriot
Tony White delivered his "Dream Story" about the soldiers in
the War Between the States and Compatriot Lindon Lindsey brought his
books with information and photos of the War Between the States. We had
a ceremony for two new members: Perry Conerly and Donald Stone. (24 and
25 members).

table and had a float for the Annual Bell Christmas parade. We tied for
first place in the float.
